That's not asshat parking: asshat parking must be a deliberate "I have no fucks to give" attitude. I think this Corolla driver intended to stay within the rules - he or she did park between the lines - but that it didn't occur to them that a) with the snow bank, parking like that would block the lane, and b) a better choice would be to park parallel to the bank.

I really wish people would explain what's supposed to be wrong in their pics. Maybe I'm an asshat, but I can never tell what people are complaining about because they leave out the context.

Oh, OK. My first thought was that those seemed to be some short lines on the parking bay. But by European standards that's a good wide road even with the snow, so I assumed the snowbank was mostly on the sidewalk.
There's still space for two lanes of traffic to pass, so it could be worse.
By the way, my second thought was that over here a road that wide would be somewhere wealthy enough that you'd be seeing BMWs and Mercs as the cheap cars - definitely nothing with a wheel-trim missing :)
